A temporary food license is required for vendors operating outside a licensed food establishment or serving unpackaged or temperature-sensitive food. A temporary food license must be obtained prior to set up and serving, selling or providing food at an event.

    • Event Registration – Must be for a civic, business, educational, government, community, or veterans organization, or similar events. Also, the event must have more than 10 food vendors (excluding fairs and farmers markets).
    • Single-Event Temporary Food Establishment License  – For vendors operating for 14 days or fewer at events like fairs, festivals, or vendor shows.
    • Annual Temporary Food Establishment License – For vendors operating at multiple events throughout the year.

    • $50-$200  ($50 Event Registration & Single Event Temporary License; $200 Annual Temporary License)
  • Processing Time:
    • Event Registration – should be submitted at least 60 days prior to the event
    • Single-Event  and Annual Licenses – should be submitted at least 30 days prior to the event
