An amusement concession is a game where you can win a prize right away if you complete a task. These games can be based on skill or luck. Amusement concessions are not casino games or certain amusement devices that need special registration. There are two categories of amusement concessions:
- Carnival-style games. These are run by a person. You win if you complete the task. Each unique game needs its own license unless it's placed next to an identical one.
- Arcade-style games. These are automated and don’t need a person to run them. They either give you a prize directly, or give tickets/tokens to trade for a prize. Each machine with its own plug needs a separate license.
