Physician Guidance
The Iowa Board of Medicine (IBOM) has developed these guidance pages in an effort to assist in answering common questions from licensees and the public. Importantly, nothing in this guidance in any way alters the obligations and requirements for licensees as they are stated in law and regulation. If you are a licensee who is concerned about whether you are in compliance with Iowa laws and regulations, you should seek the advice of an attorney.
