Board Overview

The Iowa Interior Design Examining Board was created as a Title Act in 2006. A person shall not use the title of registered interior designer or any title or device indicating or representing in any manner that the person is a registered interior designer or is practicing as a registered interior designer unless the person is a registered interior designer.

The Governor and Lt. Governor are looking for qualified applicants who are strong believers in becoming an active voice in state government on more than 160 boards and commissions as openings become available.

Board Meetings

Meeting and hearing agendas will be posted to the DIAL Public Meeting Calendar approximately one (1) week before the meeting date. 

  • Agendas are subject to change and may be posted no later than 24 hours before the scheduled start time of a meeting.
