ARC 5171C has been published as a Notice of Intended Action to amend Chapter 17, “Wholesale Distributor Licenses” and Chapter 43, “Third-Party Logistics Provider Licenses”

The proposed amendments:

Update the name of the accreditation program provided by the National Association of Boards of Pharmacy (NABP) from the Verified-Accredited Wholesale Distributors to Drug Distributor Accreditation

Allow wholesale distributor and 3PL applicants to obtain Quality and Security Accreditation (QAS) via National Coalition for Drug Quality and Security (NCDQS) as an alternative to NABP Drug Distributor Accreditation for initial licensure and requiring the NABP accreditation prior to the licensee’s second renewal
