Education & Examination Requirements
Applicants must request that evidence of the following be submitted directly from the school or exam provider:
Education Requirements
- Evidence of graduation from high school or equivalent.
- Evidence of licensure as a barber in Iowa for no less than two years.
Examination Requirements
- Passing score of 70% or higher on the NIC instructor theory and instructor practical exams.
